Defination:A juvernile is a child or young person who is not yet old enough to be regarded as an adult.

Etymology:1625, from L. juvenilis "of or belonging to youth," from juvenis "young person," originally "young" (see young). Hence juvenilia "works of a person's youth" (1622). Juvenile delinquency first recorded 1816. (http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?search=juvenile&searchmode=none)
